Productive first meeting with Minister of Justice

John Edmunds, USGE National President, recently attended a meeting with the Honourable Rob Nicholson, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada.

This first meeting was more of a meet-and-greet, where Brother Edmunds and Minister Nicholson discussed issues that are currently facing USGE members working at Justice. Workforce adjustment was also a topic of conversation.

Brother Edmunds was quite pleased after the meeting, calling it a 'positive step forward' in establishing a go-forward relationship with one of our Employers.
