National Joint Council — Living Cost Differential Survey
Beginning in mid-October 2009, Statistics Canada will be conducting a survey of the Ontario Region in order to determine the Living Cost Differential Indexes for the Isolated Posts and and Government Housing Directive (the Directive) of hte National Joint Council. The survey will consist of a combination of paper surveys and site visits, and will include prices of common household articles and staples as well as oher goods and services such as insurance, transportaton and daycare.
