Stop Bill C-391

USGE members are being called upon to do their part to help overturn the Federal Government's decision to shut down the Long-Gun Registry. USGE represents over 15,000 employees, most of whom work somewhere within the criminal justice system. The employees we represent are committed to helping protect the lives of individual Canadians. The loss of the Canadian Firearms Program would be a huge loss to the Canadian public — a public that has made it very clear they want gun owners to register each rifle or shotgun.

This Conservative government seems to be hell-bent on promoting its own personal agenda and not the agenda of Canadians. They have stripped our members' rights under various pieces of legislation; now they are stripping Canadians of peace and security.

USGE members have been staging protests, bbq rallies and information blitzes to stop this ill-advised closure. More is needed. Meet or write your MPs and support our sisters and brothers who work hard to help protect the lives of police officers and Canadian citizens.
