2012 National Local Presidents Meeting
The 2012 National Local Presidents Meeting is right around the corner! That means it's time for your delegates to get their registration forms in. The NLPM is taking place on June 12 and 13, 2012 in Ottawa, at the downtown Westin.
The National Executive recommended that this Local Presidents' Meeting be used to train Local Presidents on a number of important topics facing our membership. The following topics will be on this year's agenda:
- Privacy
- Emotional Intelligence
- Social Media
Meeting space is limited. Therefore Observer applications will be accepted if space permits. It is understood that expenses for observers will be the Local's responsibility.
Participants will be notified of travel arrangements and confirmation of hotel accommodation at a later date. Once air travel is booked, changes will not be allowed as air tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Delegates will travel on Monday June 11, 2012 and return home on Wednesday, June 13 after 2:00 p.m. There will be a reception Monday evening.
A Registration form and a Special Needs form are available to those attending. The forms are fillable, but must be saved in order to be emailed. If participants wish to print out the forms, please use legal sized (8x14) paper. Completed forms can be emailed to Diane Leduc-Doran, faxed to (613) 232-3311, or mailed to 233 Gilmour Street, Suite 603, Ottawa, ON K2P 0P2.
The deadline for registration is March 23, 2012. Applications received after this date will not be accepted.
